Teachers’ Day is the day when you fondly remember the ones who taught you life’s most important lessons and laid the foundation of real learning. Along with us, our favourite Bollywood stars are also recalling teachers who left profound impacts on them. Ajay Devgn, however, picked the most special teacher to pay a tribute to. The father!
Ajay took to Twitter to share an old photograph of himself and father Veeru Devgn. Dressed in a blazer, he must not have been older than a teen ager. My Father, My Guru. “He gave me invaluable life lessons #HappyTeachersDay,” he captioned the photo.
While he wasn’t an actor, Veeru Devgn was a renowned stuntman and action choreographer who also tried his hands in film direction. Having choreographed action sequences for nearly 80 films in his illustrious career, he definitely passed on his love for action films to his son, if nothing else!
The late action director was last seen in a special screening of Ajay’s Total Dhamaal in February. On 27th May, he succumbed to a cardiac arrest after days of illness.
